AMEPA's Analysis of the E.H. 6331 Vote

The results of Roll 443, the vote on H.R. 6331 is a testament to a lot of hard work by providers and the industry we serve. It is proof that our legislators are listening to the Healthcare Industry.
In the First Round States, which will be affected in 5 days, the majority voted (typically at least 88%) in favor of the bill. Texas stands alone with a 57% vote for the bill. Pete Sessions (R-TX) and Kenny Marchant (R-TX), who previously supported the industry in the past, voted against the bill. Florida had 23 of the 25 Representatives vote for the bill. Surprisingly, Congressman Ander Crenshaw (R) from Jacksonville (a Round 2 MSA) voted against the bill.
