Two weeks ago AMEPA and CAMPS held the Southern California rally for HR-3790 and already efforts from that event has led to additional co-sponsors for the bill. AMEPA President Rob Brant joined local business owners Jim Leedom (Home Health Equipment and Supplies), Diana Guth (Home Respiratory Care) and Michelle Barton (Confidence First Medical Supplies) at a meeting at Congresswoman Diane Watson's district office in Los Angeles to discuss HR-3790

Leedom, Guth and Barton followed up via email with Watson's Health Legislative Assistant in Washington, D.C. and earlier this week they received an email that the Congresswoman was signing on to the bill. Yesterday, she was officially added as a co-sponsor for HR-3790, bringing the total up to 147.

The success of the Southern California and Illinois events for HR-3790 has providers asking AMEPA about additional rallies. Possible locations for upcoming rallies include Houston, Texas and Northern California

Congratulations to those Southern California providers who continue to engage their legislators. If your legislator is not on HR-3790, they need to be contacted. For help read below.
